Training and Support

Training is an important aspect of any successful company's human resource development efforts. Through the Eastern Iowa Community College District (EICCD) and the Hazardous Materials Training and Research Institute (HMTRI), businesses receive comprehensive, up-to-date training in the environmental, health, safety, and compliance fields.

In addition to businesses, our training and support provide communities with the knowledge and tools necessary to undertake activities that will maximize job development, education, and employment opportunities for residents living in those communities. Our strategic job training and support programs help to build successful job training partnerships that will stimulate the marketplace, provide local employment, and promote environmental and economic sustainability.
