2010 Tribal Fellows Institute

The 2010 Tribal Fellows Institute is a summer workshop for Tribal college and high school environmental science faculty. The 2010 Tribal Fellows Institute will be held August 2-6, 2010 at Salish Kootenai College in Pablo, Montana.

Attendees will be chosen through a competitive application process. Selection criteria are outlined in the 2010 Tribal College Fellows Institute Solicitation letter.
Chosen applicants will focus on the following instructional outcomes:
Outcome 1: Increased knowledge of water management and pollution prevention, with a focus on first-hand field and laboratory learning.
Outcome 2: Development and implementation of a personal action plan for dissemination of workshop outcomes and use in academic programs.
Workshop attendance, travel, housing, meals, and workshop materials are provided free of charge.
College CEUs (Continuing Education Units), a stipend, and mini-grants will be provided to each participant for attending the Fellows Institute.
