eERL Resources for Technicians

ATEEC's electronic Environmental Resources Library, or eERL, was created through an NSF grant as part of the National Science Digital Library (NSDL). As one of an ever-growing NSDL collection of vetted libraries with science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) content, eERL provides access to resources for technicians, students, and educators in environmental technology areas.

The resources for technicians include a quick keyword search or browse, making it easy to locate needed information quickly. Technicians can locate information from laws to links to excellent online resources without wasting energy and time.

Some of the areas the eERL reviewers are focusing on include green construction and renewable energies. For example, EFCOG is the Energy Facility Contractors Group (http://www.efcog.org). It is a volunteer organization composed of DOE contractors working together to improve the cost effectiveness of DOE operations by promoting, coordinating, and facilitating the active exchange of successful programs, practices, procedures, lessons learned, and other information of common interest. For each of the resources in the eERL databank, valuable bibliographic information is provided.
